First, WHAT IS MI AUTHORIZED ACCOUNT?
Basically a Mi account that is authorized or allowed to flash a MIUI stock firmware using the Mi Flash tool. A specific computer is bind with a Mi account to allow flashing of any stock MIUI firmware on any Xiaomi device.
Which is not available for any user at any circumstance. At least till now I have not found a way how Xiaomi is allowing to have an authorized account. There is no proper official documentation about this. From a valid source we can assume that, the employee who are working for XIAOMI in authorized service center and XIAOMI care can only have MI Authorized Account.
HOW DOES IT WORKS?
While device is bricked, there are two possible ways from which you can unbrick your phone. The first option will be available when you have your bootloader unlocked. So if you are facing softbrick then you may be able to access fastboot mode of your device. In that case simply you can use MI Flash Tool to flash stock rom it will not ask any authorized mi account for flashing process unless you shift your device into EDL mode for flashing. Similarly, in same case of hardbrick and you have already unlocked bootloader, then you have another advantage i.e. you don’t have to boot into EDL mode, it will automatically boot into EDL mode when you connect your device to PC.
But in case you don’t have unlocked your phone bootloader then you may be going through tough time because, XIAOMI won’t allow their users to flash stock rom through EDL as it needs MI Authorized Account. After you have booted you device into EDL mode, then there comes the main role of MI Authorized Account for unbricking your devices.
NOW LET’S COME INTO MAIN TOPIC HOW TO GET FREE EDL FLASHING :
You are well familiar with this message, it appears when you try to flash stock rom when the phone is in EDL mode. According to this message it says “Your Account is unauthorized for this operation” which simply means that you don’t have authority to perform this operation.
HOW TO SOLVE IT?
Thanks to few developers who have already developed NO AUTH FIREHORSE from which you can use it and replace in your images path of fastboot rom. By using this you can really flash the phone in EDL mode without having any authorized account. But those firehorse are available for very limited devices. You can google for it, if you find it you can try using that to flash your phone.
